Plant Trouble
Photo checks. Clear next steps.
Free to check. No subscription.
Photograph a sick household plant or home-garden edible. Confirm the plant. Get plain next steps.
Two video ads play during the check: one to identify the issue and one to create your plan.
How a check works
-
Take the photos.
Take three photos: the whole plant; a flower, fruit, or clear leaf; and a close-up of the problem. Use a flower if present, otherwise fruit, otherwise a clear leaf that keeps its normal shape. A fourth photo from another angle is optional. You also choose where the plant is growing: Australia, United States, or Other.
-
Confirm the plant name.
Choose “Not sure” if you cannot confirm the name. A check needs a confirmed plant before it can return steps. Choosing “Not sure” ends the check with no steps.
-
Get plain next steps.
You see the issue in plain words, such as yellowing or a powdery coating, a quick check to look for, three plain steps, and when to check the plant again. You can share the plan as plain text.
Not a diagnosis.
Who it is for
People with a sick household plant or something grown to eat at home, such as a tomato, herb, carrot, or potato. It is not a tool for farmers.
What it does not do
